Downtown Hastings is home to many different creative and cultural offerings that provides entertainment and enrichment to the many residents of the area as well as college students and tourists. We aim to enliven connection to the community through creative enterprise by enhancing and inspiring artistic and cultural programming and opportunities for people in an inclusive and accessible manner.

The Heartbeat District, also known as the "Hastings Art and Beat" District, encompasses the historic downtown area and is bounded by Burlington Avenue, Eastside Boulevard, 7th Street, and the railroad.
