Central Block Properties

 

The Community Redevelopment Authority (CRA) seeks proposals from qualified developers to purchase and remodel all levels of the properties identified in Block 22 of Downtown Hastings, Nebraska. The preferred use is retail or office on the main level and retail, offices or apartments on the upper levels. Incentives that may be utilized:

  • CDBG downtown revitalization funds for facade improvements
  • Flexible payment terms on building acquisition
  • Low interest loans
  • Tax increment financing
  • Potential for federal & state historic tax credits
  • Potential public/private partnership
  • Potential participation from local investors

The following properties are located in Block 22 of Downtown Hastings. All three buildings back up to a public parking lot.
